Your assignment as you know is to create a list of all the characteristics of the characters you meet so far by dividing three sheets of paper in half and putting one name at the top of the page and making a column down with the descriptive words and phrases so that 3 sheet will give you room to begin the lists for the first six characters you meet:  The Grandmother, her son Bailey, Baileys wife-The Mother, their children John Wesley -8 yrs. and June Star - about six or so.  You also read a bit about Red Sammy.




Do not forget about her religious context for all her stories.
